JPG to DXF Converter

Convert JPG and JPEG artwork into scalable vector contours, then download a DXF for CAD, laser, or CNC preparation.

1 credit · Replicate

Use a clean, high-resolution JPG. Compression noise and photographic texture create extra paths.

THE VECTOR TRACE USES ONE PREVIEW OR CREDIT. REBUILDING DXF SETTINGS IS FREE.

VECTOR PREVIEW: [AWAITING_INPUT]

From pixels to measured CAD geometry

01

Upload a JPG

Use a clean, high-resolution JPG. Compression noise and photographic texture create extra paths.

02

Vectorize with Replicate

One SVG Genie vectorization preview or credit creates real SVG paths from the pixels.

03

Build and inspect DXF

Choose physical width and curve detail, then download CAD-compatible millimeter polylines.

Fabrication check: DXF geometry is not G-code. Verify scale, open contours, duplicate paths, kerf, and toolpaths in your CAD/CAM application before sending anything to a machine.

Frequently asked

Can a JPG really become DXF?

Yes, but it must first be interpreted as vector contours. Simple logos, signs, and line drawings convert better than photographs.

Why does my JPG create many DXF paths?

JPEG compression and color texture can become separate vector regions. Start with the cleanest source available and use Balanced or Fast curve detail.

Will the DXF be ready for a CNC machine?

It is CAD-compatible geometry, not machine instructions. Inspect contours and create toolpaths in your CAM software before operating hardware.
