Each tool maps to a production SVG Genie capability. No demo-only responses and no separate agent credit system.

1–3 creditsConvert
Convert a public PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, or BMP into editable SVG markup. Remote images are size-checked and private-network URLs are rejected.
1 creditInspect
Read the current plan, paid-credit balance, and remaining free generations before an agent starts billable work.
Read onlyRetrieve
Return recent completed generations with prompts, pipeline types, creation times, and direct SVG URLs.
Read onlyConnection flow
Create a remote MCP connection in your agent host and use the production Streamable HTTP URL.
OAuth 2.1 opens SVG Genie’s consent flow. PKCE and dynamic client registration are supported.
You see what is connecting before the agent receives a bearer token for your account.
The agent can now create, vectorize, inspect credits, and retrieve completed work.
Recommended
Add the remote endpoint, sign in to SVG Genie, and approve the connection. Compatible hosts discover PKCE and dynamic registration automatically.
Alternative
Hosts without OAuth can send a dashboard-generated sgak_ key as a Bearer token. Keep it out of URLs, client-side code, and source control.
Built for real accounts
Agent calls reuse SVG Genie’s production generation, vectorization, authentication, and credit services. A failed generation does not become a successful charge just because an agent initiated it.
Questions
It is SVG Genie’s hosted Model Context Protocol endpoint. MCP-compatible agents can discover and call SVG generation, image vectorization, account, and history tools through one authenticated connection.
No. You approve the OAuth connection, and every tool runs under the authenticated SVG Genie user. You can also use a time-limited first-party API key when a host does not support OAuth.
Generation and vectorization consume the same credits as the production SVG Genie services. Credits are deducted only after the underlying operation succeeds. Account and history tools are read-only.
The /mcp URL is reserved for protocol traffic from MCP clients. This /mcp-server page is the human-readable overview and setup guide.
